In addition to managing commercialization projects for brand owners, PTI and its family of companies are also known as technology innovators.  For example, “deep grip” technology which enables blow molded bottles to sport “grips” that are deeper than those traditionally produced on high speed, injection stretch blow molding equipment.  The proprietary technique can be used to create differentiated packaging shapes and improve functionality – desirable for both brand owners and consumers.

Another example is the development of the first lightweight foamed PET bottle/jar blow molding process and launched it under the oPTI™ brand name.  The process offers brand owners a broader range of aesthetics and performance capabilities than previously possible.  This includes: container lightweighting, novel colors, tactile options, heat-setting and overmolding.
